Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. As well as BJJ classes She also took classes in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd became more confident after her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell in the 1st round. She went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's amateur records were marred. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in the year 2015, when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to go into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to defeat McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd was unable to put on the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her, winning the TKO in second round. She continued her dominance and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd took the win at the start of round one, and received the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she's ever had in any significant way. Ladd, who won an unanimous decision in a great back-and forth fight with the fighters, was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya lost by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. In her place She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
