Antonia Antonia AntoniaCOLUMBIA, S.C. Columbia Police Department officers were diligently searching for Sims who was missing since Christmas. They also arrested Taylor Wardlaw in connection with his death. According to authorities, Eddie Brown (aged 30) has been accused of playing a role to his death. Sims was a man of 26 found at home in the area of Ervin Street in Columbia Dec. 20. His girlfriend, Wardlaw, reported him missing on Dec. 22 as reported by the police. The body was discovered near the creek on Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford confirmed the body was the property of Sims. Skip Holbrook of Columbia Police reports that Wardlaw was charged with the murder of Sims and possessing firearms during an violent offence. Sims was killed by multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. Here is the Columbia Police Department's first Tweet soliciting help from the community.
