Stevie Wonder

Stevie WonderStevland Morris (ne Judkins, May 13 1950) also known as Stevie Wonder is an American singer-songwriter. He is usually recognized as an innovator in a range of musical genres such as blues and rhythm as well as gospel, jazz soul gospel, and funk. Wonder was a solo artist made use of synthesizers to produce electronic music during the 1970s. This revolutionized the R&B genre. The musician also contributed to bringing these genres into the album era by crafting his albums to be unison and consistent, and also making expressive and socially conscious compositions. Wonder was born blind shortly after his birth, signed with Motown's Tamla label aged 11. There he was given the name of a professional artist, Little Stevie Wonder. Wonder's critical success was at its peak during the 1970s. The singer's "classic period" began in 1972 when he released the albums of Music of My Mind and Talking Book, the latter featuring "Superstition", which is one of the most distinctive and famous recordings of the sound of the Hohner Clavinet keyboard. The Grammy Award for Album of the Years was won by Innervisions (1973) The Fulfillingness's First Finale (1974) and Fulfillingness's First Finale (1974), and Songs in the Key of Life (1976). He is tied for the third most albums with three Album of the YEAR wins. He is also the only artist who has won the award in three consecutive album releases. Wonder was classified as a "commercial artist" at the time he began to have his greatest hits in the 1980s. His popularity increased with increased albums sales, charity involvement and notable collaborations.
